Ready to get more in tune with your hunger and fullness?

This hunger fullness scale is a great tool to help get you started. Print it out and stick it on your fridge or pantry door. Or, use it as part of your intuitive eating food log. Identifying your hunger and fullness levels before and after eating is a great way to become a more intuitive eater.

The second page of the handout will guide you through some of the main reasons why we eat. It's so important to recognize that it's ok and normal to eat for reasons other than physical hunger. The key is approaching the "why" with curiosity and understanding, not judgment.

This resource is perfect for tweens, teens, and adults who are working on becoming more intuitive eaters. It was adapted from "Intuitive Eating, 4th Edition" by Evelyn Tribole and Elyse Resch and "The Intuitive Eating Workbook for Teens" by Elyse Resch. Both are excellent resources for more information as well.
